so much happened this year.. sars.. iraq war.. and the recent tsunami.. images shown on the tv are very disturbing.. very.. met some really nice people(L,K,J,R,Z.. ).. saw the 2 sides of some people whom i haven quite figured(C,P..).. forged some lasting friendships(L,C..) .. and *shrugs* ..

didn't do much this week .. went town with alicia and met jian hua a lil while after that.. saw gavin in town with his mom.. went to kovan to look for wenxian as town was getting extremely boring and indistinctive..

caught up on reading novels.. suspense.. romance.. thriller.. etc.. something which i haven't done since exams..

watched 2 korean drama vcds.. or rather re-watched autumn in my heart and watched a long overdued popcorn borrowed from wenxian..

haven't been on much but *shrugs* .. i have other things to do.. =)

went for midnight mass with my family and jem and supposedly tl but he din make it .. ended mass before 1.30, sent jem home before going to adam's food centre for supper/breakfast.. reached home around 2 plus and fell into deep sleep. woke up 10hrs later and slacked aroung getting ready for xmas dinner.

xmas dinner with my relatives was quite alright .. helped to make beefballs for dinner.. tasted quite alright and my aunt thought my mom bought it pre-made *winks* food was rather tasty.. had turkey, lamb, and something of quite a lot of things? curry, mash potato, etc.. exchanged gifts after dinner.. adults sat at the dining table chatting, kids went off to play xbox and other games.. recieved rather interesting gifts from my aunts.. took some pics and some rather interesting video.. although it got rather boring after some time i was glad that the family met up together to have a nice dinner.. although a cousin of mine didn't really like the food.. *shrugs* got so bored that i went online and chatted a lil with gavin, then went off to watch tv before my mom nagged at us to go to bed..

went for mass a lil late today.. luckily we were still able to find seats.. had late lunch at home after that and played monopoly till dinner time.. it's the 1st time benjamin played the game.. poor thing .. *shakes head*

watched tv and had leftover food for dinner.. baked turkey fried rice .. heh.. played monopoly.. again.. haiz.. didn't manage to finish cause mom rushed us all to bed again.. so we're probably gonna continue the game tmr.. =) watched the 13th and 14th vcd of autumn in my heart.. it so nice.. i think it's the 3rd or 4th time watching it =P and fiok's getting interested in it too .. heh. off to bed now.. probably going to libray tomorrow to borrow some novels to read.. =D

didn't go town yest.. which is v.v.gd.. =) stayed at home and watched tv.. rot.. paint nails.. n baked cookies.. =D been some time since i baked them.. only baked 3 batches and kept the leftover dough to bake on xmas day with my cousins *smiles*

met up with joline and passed her her xmas gift.. then went to town with fiok to meet nax for our treat.. at marche.. i still have no idea y he has to treat us.. ate.. exchanged gifts.. spent like 2hrs there?? afterwards, got him to go home while me and fiok continued shopping.. oh.. and thank you nax.. for giving mi that gift.. i had to lug it around town.. -.- while shopping in the already crowded orchard no less.. thanks *rolls eyes* =)

was still left with vic's present and jeremy's.. finally decided to get the necklace for her since she likes it so much.. but couldn't get jem his gift.. tl asked me to help him check out the price of this wallet he saw the other day.. looked high and low then we found it.. card cum money holder for 40 odd.. and by the time we had talked to taka, then he msged me to help him buy it -.-|||

reached home in time for dinner, watched tv.. and more tv.. did something for jem.. while my dad and benjamin blew up balloons to decorate the house.. and my house is pathetic.. we don't have a proper xmas tree so we can't really put gifts under the tree.. *sighs* and my brother suggested that i bargain with my mom to allow us to blow up more balloons .. and he'd give me a dollar for it.. -.- goodness.. it was so funny that it got us all laughing.. it must be the influence of fiona =/

i'm so frustrated at my dad.. he just doesn't understand that tigerairway's web has a glitch.. and i don't wanna elaborate any further... called fiok and unloaded on her.. felt so much better.. it's so nice to have somebody to unload on.. or a close sibling.. or a nice bed, pillow/bolster/big softoy to hug or go to sleep with.. =)

xmas this year will be somewhat similar to last year's, last last year's and god knows how many years before.. except that it'll be at our house.. family dinner on the 25th.. and xmas mass earlier in the morn.. at 12am.. with my family and jem and tailon.. and whomever fiok is inviting .. if she is..

i'm honestly quite sick of town le.. been to town like 4 or 5 times ever since i'd came back from korea.. walking up and down town looking for gifts, meeting friends to catch up and pass pressies.. been in town for like 7hrs today? met up with alicia.. had breakfast at taka's mac.. shopped around.. looking for my 8 yr old cousin's present.. she wanted this diamante initial necklace which we saw the other time i met my aunt and her in town.. but i forgot which shop was it... !!! walked round and round taka's accessory counters.. but i still couldn't find any.. visited wisma's isetan next and found this counter which sold that .. but i felt that it was .. ermm.. too big for her.. so couldn't decide on that .. went up to several shops to look for nax's present.. walked up down, in out of shops till i'm so tired and sick le..

i have a love hate feeling towards xmas.. since when does it become a present giving occasion.. ? spending loads of cash or rather using $$ from bank account(in my case).. but nothing beats the reaction of gift recievers when they recieve something nice or thoughfully chosen. nothing can also compare to the delightful looks kids have when they recieve a much awaited gift..

anyway.. after shopping around in wisma walked to cuppage mall to meet esther where she's currently working to pass her her gift.. enroute, alicia decided to respond to the calls for blood donation .. walked all the way in to chat'sworth interenational school but realised that she forgot to bring her ic and so it was a wasted trip.. we walked down sumore to ps.. had lunch at kfc.. super fattening.. -.- went to marks and spencer hoping that i could get some sicillian lemon bars to share with alicia.. but they ran out of stock.. !!!! lousy..

went to spotlight to get some .. stuff .. den walked around somemore to look for gifts.. both of us got so tired that we went to sit at the benches outside ps.. in the sun... which reminds me that i haven't gone tanning in a long time.. =( sat there and re-read the da vinci's code while ali wrote her letter.. i tink we sat there for 30-45mins..

walked back 'uptown' .. to heeren.. shopped around sumore.. bought something for fiok.. hope she likes it.. *crosses fingers*.. alicia got a call from jean so we went to the toilet for some peace and quiet.. met jianhua soon after coz they were gonna celebrate their 1.5yrs.. awwww..

walked 'uptown' somemore to far east where i went to take a bus straight home.. and they went to have ramen to celebrate...

and so this is how i ended my day.. with sore feets.. and tired eyes..

had the wierdest dream last night.. can make neither head nor tale.. and i can only remember bits and pieces now -.-

hmm.. i dun even noe where to begin tho it's a really short dream. it goes like this.. *thinks* there's me and another guy .. whom i'm not sure who .. but supposedly someone i do know.. we're in a relationship.. a rather comfortable one ( in quite a few ways).. as if we've been together for quite some time.. but nt v.v.long either.. then i can't remember what happened in between or was there even an in between.. then there is me on my wedding day.. like .. !!!!!! hmm.. and i remember that i was horrified ( this term is used loosely here ) that i wasn't wearing concealor.. then fast forward again.. we were gonna leave for our honeymoon, at the last minute we were told that we had boarded the wrong plane?? hence we rushed to the correct flight.. but in the midst, i had dropped my cards, cash and hp on the initial wrong plane.. however by the time i realised it, the aircraft was already 'sealed'.. however after some time, the matter was somewhat resolved due to the assurance of the captain the my belongings would be returned to me asap when i had reached my destination.. and apparently the wrong plane we boarded was going to the same destination..

ok.. i'm not making sense.. i actually have a vague idea who that person is.. but i'm not entirely sure.. so don't ask me who.. i'm not telling.. only fiona will noe.. i'll be telling her later.. if i don't fall asleep first..

recieved msg from manda the night i touched down.. asking if we wanna meet up on wed(yest) .. agreed even tho alicia was away in penang.. haha. so we went out without her.. left the house a little late and was expecting to be the latest to arrive. ended up, i was the earliest .. -.- so went walking around in wisma.. waiting for wenxian to arrive.. met up with her like 15mins after the time we were suppose to meet, then went to nydc, ordered drinks and waited for liquan and manda to arrive.. as usual manda was the latest.. =) sat there.. sipped drinks.. pple watch.. caught up.. talk crap..

wenxian wanted to looked for sunglasses and get a 'talent scout' to notice manda.. so we walked down orchard.. from heeren to fep.. den to taka.. wisma.. cine.. and how my legs ached.. i wore heels la.. but anything to be with my group of friends .. =D met 1 .. but i think that most 'talent scouts' are *shrugs*.. not reliable..

went to mos at taka soon after to rest and get a drink.. talked more crap and partly bitching about the couple that was sitting next to us.. why? coz the two of them took up a 4 seater.. and the 4 of us sat at a 2 seater.. and so we had a cozy corner .. or rather a cozy center .. -.- aniwaes.. we left soon after.. coz me and wenxian had to go home for dinner.. i guess the next time we meet up will be after xmas as liquan will onli be back on the 25th..

finally back in sg and found time to blog.. my trip to korea was fun fun fun... =) .. especially with 2 adorable kids, allyson and nicholas.. had wanted to type out the itenary but i lost the itenary and i'm too lazy to recall the sequence of places where we went..

went to places like the national folk museum.. kyongbok palace.. nami island.. everland.. mount sorak.. ski resort and hanwha waterpia.. etc.

didn't really take alot of pics.. coz the digital cam was so battery consuming that i always ran out of battery.. brought 10 AA batts.. end up all used.. managed to take some tho.. especially with allyson and nicholas.. both of them are just so adorable.. allyson looks just like a korean gurl.. and the both of them kept shouting 'genting holiday' when we were touring .. much to the embarrasment to their parents.. oh well.. they're still super cute..

oh.. i still don't understand why gurls are so crazy over bae yong joo.. =S .. he's like so not cute.. wadeva.. i didn't watch the winter sonata so i can't really comment. at nami island, they had these human sized cardboards.. one of bae yong joo hugging the lead actress in the drama .. but without the head.. so gurls can 'place' their faces there and take a pic.. and one of the lead actress being hugged by a headless bae yong joo.. =/ *shakes head*

everland was.. alright la.. not exactly very spectacular.. and had like 2 or 3 thrilling rides.. i only went for one with my sis.. suspended coaster.. coz she didn't want to go for anymore of the exciting rides.. disgusting.. no fun de..

skiing was quite fun.. but it didn't snow... all round were artificial snow.. we gave up after a while coz we couldn't realli get the hang of it and i think ice skating is a lil easier.. =P oh!! .. i saw a guy who looked alot alot alot like nicholas tse!!!!! but with cap and shades.. *grins sheepishly* .. from USW.. very very cute and very chio also.. =D hah.. oh well..

the same day we went to the hanwha waterpia spa.. it's divided into the hot spring and the water 'games' .. the hot spring section required pple to strip .. as in go in naked !! goodness.. only 2 ladies in the group went for that .. the rest went for the other section. the changing room was mm.. interesting.. realli interesting.. ladies in all shapes and sizes .. in all states of undress.. the water 'games' were split into indoor and outdoor.. they had wave pool.. some slide.. jacuzzi.. etc.. me and fiona lingered around in some them went to the pools that connected to the outdoor section.. after much persuasion fiona agreed to go outdoors.. it was like around 0 degrees and it was extremely cold.. just imagine a breeze in the night (it was like around 7 already and the days end around 5pm) so both of us just floated about in the pool.. below the neck was slightly (barely) warm.. the above the neck was all cold... !! our faces, nose and ears were practically numb, teeth chattering.. and enjoying the sight of pple who left the pool to enter another pool .. white mist were pratically emmited from their bodies when they ran from pool to pool.. looked very much like evaporating human beings.. and we had so much fun watching them run.. and fiona refused to come out of the pool to enter another one.. basically cause she was either too cold or was afraid of the cold. met alan and eunice ( teacher couple) while floating around the pool and after some pressure from us, fiona finally relented and we all ran to another pool .. this pool was realli warm.. saw another group of our members and we all ran from pool to pool.. twas so fun.. i can't imagine.. a group of 8 pple running here and there.. with white mist from our bodies.. =\ they had pools with 48-49 degrees water.. so it was quite shiok.. entering warm waters after being exposed to the cold.. i'm surprised that i haven't fallen sick yet .. =D

shopped a lil onli.. coz it's winter.. and almost all the clothes aren't practical to be worn in singapore.. wanted to buy a knee high boots.. purplish or camel coloured.. but my mom kept saeing that it's not practical etc.. so end up didn't buy =( while shopping in sinchon street.. we bought ice cream from an ice cream palour .. the guy was quite cute.. *grins* in any case.. i didn't buy any souvenirs back okay.. so don't ask me for them.. =P not even kimchi.. =/

it wasn't realli very cold there.. but when there's a slight breeze .. that's a different story.. in singapore pple go into shops to keep cool.. in korea.. my mom goes into shops to keep warm.. i don't wanna go holiday with my mom le.. she can't stand cold .. nor can she stand hot.. i think it's best she stays in singapore.. okay.. i sound very mean.. but sadly it's true..oh.. my tour guide is very cute too.. when she wants to say something.. she alwaes goes 'ah ah'.. and she alwaes makes the victory sign when taking pictures.. i wanna go back to korea again.. but without a tour group.. and i wanna go to many many places..

woke up late today.. sae 10.00? received a message from my aunt asking if i'd like to meet her earlier.. for no apparent reason .. juz for fun she says.. i noe!!.. she misses me *grins widely* took 105 to town and met her.. saw her with victoria and 2 big paperbags.. it isn't really that big but it sorta is. decided to go shopping for fiona's xmas present and janice's if possible.. ended up walking around town carry those big paperbags.. taka.. wisma.. tangs.. isetan.. etc.. etc.. and finally we bought something for her.. but i can't sae it here =P had lunch at taka.. pasta.. it's nice and the price is quite alright .. i shall go there again.. =D

we parted at about 3 as victoria had her dental appointment and i went to fep to look for shades to get for my mum.. couldn't find anithing so went straight to pacific plaza for my facial appointment a lil earlier than my appt time. facial was... painful.. as in PAINFUL .. oh well.. and my face is now red.. -.-

received an sms from jean after my facial .. asking for concealer and 'makeup help' .. like what can i do.. i'm in orchard.. you're in marina ?? walk to taka and wisma to continue looking for a pair of shades for a xmas for my mum.. while sms-ing jean .. and she sounded real desperate for me to go over to help her with her make-up.. ended up .. took a train to city hall .. walked alot alot.. to pan pacific .. but she told me after that that they were in marina mandarin.. ok la.. by the time i walked back to marina mandarin(because i had bypassed it enroute to pan pacific) it was like 7 already.. so we just met up.. took a pic with alicia and jean and left for home.. disgusting lor.. waste my time.. but anyway.. what to do.. they're my gurl frens .. *sighs*

reached home after 8.. washed up.. had late dinner .. watched tv.. came online and did my usual stuff.. flying off tomorrow.. and i can't wait.. prolly need to go town -again- tmr to exchange the shades i bought.. oh well honestly i'm quite sick of town le.. we'll see when i get back =)

hmm.. woke up late -again- today.. took a cab and rushed for gp gw.. went hme to have lunch, slacked, showered..

met jem and tailon to watch after the sunset at cineleisure took a bus to town.. walked half of orchard road from far east to cine .. -.- met jasmine along the way.. hugged and chatted abit.. =D ended up, the guys had to wait a wee bit more for mi.. a few mins onli mah.. complain for wad =P and they had the cheek to tell me they were guessing what i'd be wearing.. -.- nothing better to do.. 'niwaes they din get all correct..

the show was quite alright.. jem wanted to watch alexander .. but he was underaged =D haha and lousy jeremy kept on teasing .. lousy person.. (and again.. i hope u read this =P)

met fiona in taka.. after some trouble.. walked around looking for benjy's xmas prez.. realised that he has yet to play monopoly.. so we got him a set.. hopefully he makes less noise ..

can't wait till the 8th of dec.. it'll be so fun .. fun fun .. =D
