omg. can't believe i actually lost sleep over it.

11days and 15 more hours.

i can hardly wait for this week to be over. and a couple hours more to that before i'm finally done with contemporary issues and school. of coz, not forgetting the bangkok trip with mel. after so much hassle of changing dates, choosing the flights, choosing the hotel, it's finally done. though it's only gonna be 4d3n, i so can't wait. we'll be meeting sanoon there too. note to self to bring the letters to pass back to people in maldives.

got a 2500 words research paper aka report to finish. only 600 odd words done. appendix not slot in yet. too lazy to do. no mood to write. and whatever excuse which i can't think of right now. so blogging as a form of procrastinating and escapism.

so.. january's happenings. (and sorry for the lack of photos)

arrived back in sg on the 19th. uneventful flight. not so comfortable nap/sleep though. but it was ok. visited t3's transit. then back to t2 to do duty free shopping. got myself some dessert wine and wadelse which is over at godma's waiting for us to open. a CH De Coy 2003, South Crosng G and a Muffato Della. that set me back by almost 200. had mac breakfast before meeting godma at t3. nothing much to rave about. seems like a replica of hk international airport. had coffee and godma dropped me off at home. sent in my contemporary issues proposal which was due at 5. knocked out for x number of hours before attending sunset mass. met luke and nic kwek. stopped to chat for like 5mins before leaving with mom and ben.

steamboat at manda's the next day. didn't manage to go down to turfcity to shop for food with the girls coz i woke up late. missed meeting up with the girls and having steamboat sessions. liquan couldn't make it in the end. but manda and ali's guys came. ended the day with jigsaw which i had no patience nor motivation to do. only ali and manda can. got dad to pick us up and send alicia home after that.



supposed to meet the rest of the maldives interns and ms chia for lunch at top table on monday. but somehow i was late. and we weren't exactly in proper dress code. anyhows. lunched at mensa. went to town with mel for shopping. long overdued. and to get necessities like my black eyeliner. don't remember where i put it after lending to mel back in maldives..

don't remember what i did for the rest of the week. prolly bumming around at home.

had reflections submission on friday. and i think for once i submitted it a day early. that left friday free for shopping with shawn. met at bugis. walked to cityhall area. can't remember what that boy bought tho'. and out of my laziness to type...

cityhall was with ljs at marina. subway was at fareast.

went over to godma's that night again coz it was museum visiting the next day. greek art. it was like a visit back to childhood coz i used to read alot of greek myths and legends stories when i was younger. then to vivo for sushitei. sukiyaki =) and shopping by myself coz fiok had to get her materials and get home to do her submission. seems like each shopping that i do, i chalk up to a hundred dollars. not good.

went for sq interview on sunday and pretty much spent my day doing that. rushed to complete my portfolio for sip dued the next day.



resumed school on monday plus sip portfolio submission. realised that we ran out of printing paper so had to go over to imm to get some. dreadful apprehension that my proposal would not be approved. it was done in a day or two you see. last minute as usual. but was glad to be meeting 307. plus our black arrangement. new teacher. same class. approved proposal. met alex later on to go over to shawnpaul's place for dinner. we took his casual remark of cooking for us for real and he got stuck with it. xboxed for quite some time, some car racing game and Halo 2 where alex babysitted me. more than half the time i was figuring out which buttons to press. and by then, that guy has already killed all the enemies there. dinner was great. ate till i was too full. headed to godma's.

interview round2 the next day. one to one. met shulay there. got thru to the next round but the interviewer gave me the impression that it was not a shoo-in. more like a 'i'll put u thru to the next round, see if you can make it' kind. but turns out, he did that to every other interviewee who went thru him. kns. prawn cocktail salad for lunch. met mel later in the evening to bugis and chinatown shopping. was very tempted to get a particular dress but decided against it. coz sarah has so many but doesn't really wear them. finally got my ralph lauren style again.

lecture at 1 on wed. aviation industry. interesting and rather insightful. chai passed me a pair of really pretty earrings she got from china. and angie got us all a pouch. comp labbed with junie and shermain. met niven outside lab. collected preUsem cert. shopping again with shawn. details above ^^

no idea what i did on the last day of january.

tp career fair on 1st feb. got ask by ms ivy to represent tp. with no idea what was i suppose to do, went down, met xiyun and rachel prior to the start of the fair. then felix, fookping, xavier and gang where we went around, hung around and had lunch. met shawnpaul and randall but did not go down for preUsem in the end. coz sarah the princess was having her lunch for such a long time. met mel who came much later. hung around a little more waiting for the rest of the girls who tried their luck at the interview. met alex while waiting. and priscilla. so many preUsem peeps that day. not forgetting jasper the irritating monkey who kept calling me sarah auntie. dinnered at tm with mel.

too lazy and felt abit off so skipped luge reunion dinner.



swopped consultation slots with beilin. met liyan and her friend whom i forgot the name. went to the library to see if we could get anything. decided not to go for lecture.

another round of interview at stc. pangsehed alex and shawnpaul coz i was lazy to wake up earlier for lunch at bedok. then to godma's after. collected the sweets me and fiona left on separate occasions but left my mobile phone there instead. what was i thinking? and apparently some files too. but i've no idea what files they are. met the jc classmates at clementi for botak jones. late again as usual. hung around. talked crap. updating. some things still never change i realised. like they will always tease about me and tailon. about me and my cmi chinese. about chiani being boyish. about daniel having a big face. and about anni being auntie-ish, laughing non-stop. missed being with these people.

headed to paragon for medical checkup on cny eve. met the two nus chem girls. names i remember not tho'. then down to nlb to meet mel. raffles city for late lunch coz i wanted to have slow food and we didn't know that the foodcourt in bugis has shifted upstairs =/

cny was pretty much as in the chat log below with alex. eve reunion dinner at coffeeshop nearby. vivian joined us. didn't shou ye. worked on day1. walked out with art. considerably more people at home that night. went to greatgrandma's to bainian on day2. worked on day3. spicyxoudons for dinner. started on research paper on sunday. changed consultations slot with yanwan. love that girl. =)

that pretty much sums up everything. till then..
