with IMF finally over. it's not so much like a sigh of relief of any sort. but im glad the craziness is all over.

started with a more specialised training session, then a couple days into the event with nothing much to do. ended up polishing glasses, plates and all. bored to sleepiness at our resting area. resentment at it being sucha waste of time as we were mostly let off a couple hours after reporting. looking forward to lunchtime everyday. and then things picked up and we didn't even have time for our behinds to touch the chairs.

feet/toe swelling. blisters. backaches. neckaches. sorearms. u name it.

but it was truly a bonding experience. no less.

after the appreciation reception on friday. the room service crew hung around till everyone left and the techincal crew were almost finished clearing up the reception area. snapping pictures like there was no tomorrow.

oktoberfest at the swissclub was awesome. the bavarian colour are euuuu tho' checkered white and cyan blue.

reminded me of that birthday event i worked at raffles bbr. only bigger. more europeans. wouldn't have minded doing service. but ended up ensuring that the correct coupons were collected for the beers.

twas good anyhows coz the barman were nice =) tho' i can't remember most of their names but there's dino and bing who are also fiona's colleagues at the paulaners. then there was christ, roy and his cousin. funny bunch trying to get my number/msn for roy who didn't dare ask it from me.

would have posted up pics if i had but alas i didn't take much photos. only with fiok and gladys. met her there. yet to get the photo from her. was appalled to see some part time staff taking photos and videos while on the job. so unpro =/

perhaps we'll all meet again next year.

before a short entry dedicated to imf, ive gotta log down the inbetweens of it.

surprise presence at manda's birthday celebrations at her hall on the 5th which wasn't so surprising after all. coz its like we're always appearing at each other's celebrations. its kinda expected already. anyhows, manda's birthday marked the last of our 20th birthdays in our group. now. we're just waiting to cross over to our 21st. seemed like such lifetime away when u were 16 17 or even 18.

arabian nights on saturday. or even anything on a saturday at cooldeck is something to look forward too. with carol, ying, felix, ck, drey and all. life's never dull with them. was surprised to see calvyn there but he doesn't remember me. neither did i bother to ask him. so no matters.

mistook luge's dinner meeting to be on the 13th when it was actually on the 14. silly me headed down to luge. we went to ps for carls anyway.

luge's dinner meeting on thursday was indiany. hung around waiting for them to wrap up work before heading to samunder. food there wasn't too bad save some were cold already by the time the talk.meeting.discussion was over.

feet were so sorely tired from all the walking in court shoes on that friday that i had to cancel movieing with caine. raincheck.

arabian nights again. was surprised to see gavin there. weather was not good. with threatening bouts of rain. but it was a great night nonetheless with mostly nice guests.

rest day from imf was spent at the luge.

and to end it. starbucks with the imf roomservice crew. =)

so many days have passed without recording them down. now i've forgotten most of it. =/

the last week of school was rather relaxed with some lectures already completed leaving some days totally free. headed to school on thursday for forbes training and luge visiting. met n.quek on the way to sentosa. in one of the most awkward and funny manner. i could almost swear if youd seen my expression when he called out to me and i just stood there stunned, trying to place this guy who looks familiar yet not so. wierdest was that we don't even acknowledge each other at church. oh well.

took some time out on saturday to attend the binelle briefing with chai. seemed like something id wanna join but yet lacking the time commitment.

anyhows. study week was fruitful. well. sorta. but there were too much to study. and two days were set aside for luge and my initiation training/work. wasn't too bad save for the shortage of fourhundred plus at cashup at the end of the first day. luckily it was coz i didn't multiply correctly. not a bad way to start aye.

was late for luge's breakfast meeting even tho i cabbed down. oh wells. ended up visiting some attractions with silin, zhong, celeste and her friend.

stayed over at godma's during exams week. slept and studied at odd hours.

i do hope my paper grades do turn out well. well enough not to drag down my acctg and mktg grade. and well enough to pull up my ar and crs.

headed home to drop off stuff and change for htm's masqued and krunk. met shahul at the link towards seah im. was a nice surprise and all. it's been so long since i met u with my other jcmates.

masqued and krunk were alright. it's the company that counts anyway. and so together with drey, carol, choukin, kelvin, aaron, felix, timothy, steph, lu, eugene, pang and who else i didn't remember.

masqued was eating, movieing and our hunk/babe contest. drey and me managed to weasel out way outta it. but we got timo and felix to go up instead. sabo-ed aaron too. and with our support, we got timo voted the hunk of the night.

left watching saw2 halfway and headed for krunk. got our entry in then exited to meet up with steph and group for drink and games. decided that i was not gonna get the least bit tipsy lest it affected my sat's work at the luge. and so to avoid that, i declined to play some of them. ended up a guy offered to take my stead for the drink punishments so as to get me to play. heh. the worstthingforhim/bestthingforme was that he/they/theguys could not try and cheat to get me drunk. it was simply awesome.


left a lil earlier with yingjie to shower up. ended up napping at blockg while waiting for the first blue line. while engaged in magic tricks performed by aaron which must have disheartened him for im not one who'd be awed by the tricks or wanting to know how did he pull the tricks off.

breaked fast at seah im and macs. then met up with luge colleagues at seah im again. saturdays at the luge was just mind boggling. with the queues. it's godamn long and neverending.
