yes. im finally back in singapore. for nearly two weeks already.

pretty much settled back into singapore tho there's isn't much to settle in too. you just pretty much get caught in the ratrace or just the motion of things.

so.. now for the long awaited updates. where do i start? alright. maldives first.

for the many asking me how was maldives. im sorry if i have to think damn long before i answer you coz i don't really know how to respond to a question like that. but i would have to say it was a damn worthwhile experience despite all the ups and downs. not downs as in having the wish that i was back home in singapore but rather the less than ideal circumstances sometimes. but surely it was an experience i would not have traded and if i had to choose again, i would do it all the same.

it's abit too late now to recall everything back for the last three months. luckily i've kept a mini paper journal of sorts tho i didn't manage to update everyday. but for people like anni who wants to see my photos.....

so in chrono order.

our first day there was spent with a briefing at hr office followed by free time.

got invited to a maldivian style fishing cum bbq at shifau's place.
spearfishing. coconutshellbbq.

fsitp training. had a tour of the grounds and rooms.

had a private dolphin chasing trip.
met a couple of the recreation guys who were at the staff beach keeping their jetskis.
moosa offered us a ride on the boat.
we came | | to the dolphins which swam by the boat.
caught the most spectacular sunset too.

went out to a nearby reef with candice, mel and vic for seawalker.
the one where alex calls me a bomberman when i wore the headgear.
waters weren't so clear that day tho'.

celebrated vanessa's 19th birthday.
drinks in the room followed by cake and chips at staff area.

last day of my night shift at front office.
caught the sunrise for the first and last time.

staff mural competition down by the courtyard.

annual staff party similar to that of our version of dnd.
non-alcoholic booze. better food. karumba. music.

rooms interns' visit to the four seasons explorer.

my kayaking pal.

our colleague's wedding in the capital.
and probably the only chance to dress nicely.

dinner with the housekeeping boys.

last kayaking trip out.
last time we'd ever see this view again.

beneath the smiley faces.
our last night. our goodbyes.

other random photos taken.

did tonnes other stuff also which weren't captured. stuff like helping out at the kids club. so many cute kids in one venue. cute ones. naughty ones. spoilt ones. but they are adorable in some way. just wanted to dapao them in my puma bag and bring back home.

did snorkelling and diving. candice will prolly kill me for reminding her that. but it was definitely the experience of a lifetime. in the indian ocean. candice, please call me along if u're gonna take up diving course alright.

i LOVE jetskiing. tried wakeboarding and kneeboarding which ended up being belly boarding. tonnes of humongous bruises after that. waters stuck in nose and ears. but it was damn worth it. thanks to rory and johnny.

can't remember what else but you get the idea. maybe i'll post up parts of my ejournal.

ok. i think i have to start on my research paper. and maybe some bangkok trip research. singapore updates next time. =)

i don't know what to blog about.... =(
and i don't want to go back yetttttttttttttt.

not a good way to start a new post of the year with so much negativity aye?

2nd last off day before we head back to singapore. headed to male early in the morning with candice for a walkabout. managed to confirm space for 2 on the pm escorted snorkelling with rory and so we decided to head back on the 12pm boat. choppy waters. kept bobbing up and down. had dinner, gonna go over to boduhuraa later on. haven't decided what to do yet tho. prolly chill at sunset and have a cheese omelette.

life here's pretty boring but somehow i really don't wanna go back yet.

time attached at kidsclub was pretty good though i probably didn't learn as much as i would have in the the other departments. but the fun thing was having all the kids around. little pesky uns like jacob whom i ended up babysitting. to really cute ones like phoenix, kitty and anabel. and there are the girls who will grow up to be damn pretty. sophia from russia, lito and alexia from greece and fotini from cyprus.

festive season wasn't very happening coz i ended up babysitting. but that meant abit of extra cash. which i haven't decided where and what to spend on. coz i'm thinking of a new laptop, a new handphone.

and then there's plan for post grad that i haven't really decided yet. to fly or to study somewhere. and if it's the latter, where should i go to study.

ok. to be continued.
pictures up another time.
