it seems i have gotten way too lazy to blog. 

the second half of the previous entry is half typed 

and just sitting there.

so instead of letting so many entries accumulate, 

i've decided to just post whatever's happened today. 

and possible a couple days back. 

oh then that would date back to vday's lhc bbq. 

hmm ok maybe just yester-yesterday and yesterday.

besides, it's 3plus am 

and i think i may have inherited insomnia from terence.

tsk to me.

met up with celine at the airport after my overnight turn. 

she had some stuff to settle back at control 

and i wanted to apply for a mailbox.

couldn't decided what to wear coz i was in a totally casual mood. 

but it can't be too casual like shorts and flipflops. 

ended up in that boyfriend jeans,blue spag top, white shirt and booties.

finally realised why so many say that i look like i lost weight.

it's the freaking casual jeans people. 

not that i'm not happy. 

but it can get very self-misleading.

headed to town after much getting lost. 

we got our nails done. 

hers back in red. 

and i took over her metallic blue. 

but in a darker tone.

fiona says it doesn't look as good in the photo. 

after comparing, i think i must agree.

in any case i'm loving this shade.

think i shall go get this when i'm in frisco.

shopped around while waiting for mel, shawn and terence.

at far east and wisma. 

was thinking of getting this skirt.

looks kinda schoolgirl-ish minus the pleats.

ended up watching celine get two other pieces. 

finally settled on astons.

most of the -iwanttotry- items were sold out sadly.

split after dinner coz 

1. ms ong was having an early flight.

2. i only had about 3hrs to sleep after that overnighter.

3. roster was out. 

so much for all the checking and waiting.

no other comments on my roster here. 

anyhows, so much for casual. 

my feet was pretty much hurting by the time i got to the busstop.

luckily i had a seat on the bus.

phew.

the rest of the night was spent trying to change flights.

day1 of my three days annual leave.

sleeping till 12pm.

charsiew noodles for lunch.

fashion blog stalking.

collecting pictures for my fashion lookbook.

grandma's glutenous rice at 4pm.

more blog stalking.

saw yanwan's 70something meme on fb.

but was too lazy to do coz i was still stalking.

a third of chicken rice at 7pm.

hurriedly got ready to go out.

coz dad's car was parked in the loading bay.

headed to suntec with fiona for haato and groceries.

then to paulaners for music and beer.

lastly to mspier coz i haven't been there yet.

when fiona introduced me as her older sister,

her ex-colleagues all gave the same face.

and one of the singers said i look like cocolee.

?????

which i totally disagree.

but i have a feeling 307 has smth to say about it.

oh wells.

nowadays i simply cant be bothered 

to edit the brightness of my concealor.

it was too dark at mspier to take any other photos.

so we camwhored.

that pretty sums up my day one. 

but there was more blog stalking when i came home.

i even gave up doing the meme from yanwan 

and a new one from joseph.

that makes a total count of 3.

maybe when i get up tomorrowlater today.

this is why i love my mac. 

tho i still think its overrated.

was toying with the idea of short hair again.

and of coz my favourite parting.

but my hair is stubborn.

it always falls back to almost centre parting. 

urrrgggghhh.

but on the other hand. 

this is a becoming look. 

considering if i should bake cookies or go tanning tomorrow. 

and trying to come up with other options as well. 

i have many things to do now like...

1. try to change my leave so i can go meet fiona when she goes for her aus trip. 

2. remove my nude nail polish and start painting the one for work. 

3. find my white and moscatos to chill for tonight's lhc bbq.

4. look through those new notes on fb.

5. look at warricks lovely photos from her holiday in koh samui. 

so i have no time to blog yet.

or im simply procrastinating. yet again.

didn't have time to type up the second part of the updates. 

maybe tomorrow. 

should be quite free in the morning.

bumped into darren from pj on my last perth flight. 

heard some pretty interesting news. 

and upon hearing it i wanted to called the bearer of the news so i could laugh to her.

i kind of put off updating so long that i don't even know where to pick up from.

i think it was the shanghai trip in dec08. the one where we had one clear day there and some of the crew decided to head to qi pu lu to shop and i kinda froze while waiting for the taxi back coz i wasn't expecting it to be that cold. but one of the girls lent me her newly bought coat.

amritsar trip was surprising good. i mean save for the fact that i had to worry about bed bugs and the cleanliness of the sheets. was thinking that i'd prolly die from boredom but it was not to be.

our flight landed in delhi due to unfavourable weather conditions. and it was like they brought us up to heaven before the hell later on. u'll see.

and this was how bad the weather was. when i first drew open the curtains in the morning, it was just a blank. thought it was some privacy technology. but no. it was just the fog.

took an empty aircraft to amritsar. watched some bollywood show, had lunch and read magazine.

it doesn't look half that bad in the photos right. and so what am i complaining about. that's only cause this hotel is considered to be one of the best in the city. i think about all the poor businessmen having to stay here.

but all is not lost with great crew who actually plan to go out. after all we would never get to go there in the future. had all our meals in the restaurant there which i think only set me back by less than 20 bucks for about 4 meals.

went to visit the orphans at mother theresa's orphanage in alvin's car.

came back for lunch before heading out to catch the changing of the guards at the pakistani border.

the girls and guys were split into two lines. lucky for us, we were a total of 4 girls and 2 guys. so we weren't isolated.

in the far corner is the pakistani side with very much lesser crowd as compared to the india side. we were also trying to spot if any of our crew would be there.

we followed the crowd into the ladies area until our guide came to let us know there was a "vip" area for us aka tourists. but some of the locals still managed to climb over to our area anyways.

as much as it was a respected ceremony, there was much cheering and dancing in between. and these guards had such a way of marching where they kicked their legs really high. totally comical looking.

visited the golden temple next. very ornate with all the gold and marble.

got a tour of the cooking and washing area.

don't they look like they're discussing matters of national security over chapatti?

had a mini birthday party for one of our pilots in the lounge.

went out the next day with two other colleagues to tailor made a punjabi suit for myself which i'll probably never wear. it is just sitting in a corner of my wardrobe now.


kl turn following that. pretty easy and fun. i think it was light load.

and a bali night stop. went for a much needed massage with two other girls. must be the bed in amritsar.

quite pretty aint it?

would prolly consider it for a short getaway when the weather's better there.

met up with shawn for tanning. and supposedly celine too. not much sun there but we still had to try. km8 will therefore be my new tanning spot. then to vivo for dinner and shopping. followed by desserts at 2amdessert bar with terence, celine and mel. and a midnight walk for the five of us at ecp.

a final meet up with yanwan the next day before she left for jackson hole or no hole. headed to marina barrage with all the girls of 306. weilun was somewhere overseas for training. some random shots from my handphone and yanwan's cam. should have done a picnic there.

then headed to suntec for dinner before i had to rush off for work while the rest went to pick up yanwan's winter jacket.


moscow houston trip was pretty awesome too despite the cold weather.

ok think i should continue later. gotta head back to godma's now.
