friday was spent taking care of poor mummy who has caught the viral gastric flu. horrors of horrors. the shang tu xia xie type.. and when mummy falls ill, it's really really bad. not that she hardly falls ill.. but i think my mom has quite a weak constitution. see what no exercise does to you. and depending on tablet vits. she had porridge the whole day. plain. but it was friday anyway so i guess it's quite alright.

liyan messaged me on thurs night for a meet up after work on friday but was cancelled.

woke up like around noon on sat (as on friday) vexed over benjamin's attitude at studying.. his chinese exams are next week.. but he's not serious in revising for it.. *shakes head*..

did some more tweakings for blog. and it's nice isn't it.. fiona as usual, help ALOT. yea.. i know it's a pendulum swing from purple complications to plain simplicity.

tried to complete my theory papers but was constantly distracted. and that's why i'm still up at this hour, when i could have gone to bed like 2 hours ago and enjoyed the rainy weather.

arguing with terence on his pizza treat and my venezia and chocolate buffet treat. =P have yet to settle on a date and place for that.. and maybe we should ask along somemore classmates.. shall consider that.. and terence, you owe me venezia first!! and someone please remind me that i've gotta confirm the date and place by this coming week, else i'd have to treat him chocolate buffet and venezia while he treats me pizza instead. wouldn't want that... hah

and fiona was so nice to help wenxian do her blog.. and now wenxian loves her to bits.. or so she claims to fiona on msn.. (wenxian, don't need to love her to bits.. a treat will suffice) -grins-

oh yah.. fiona scored a gpa of 4 for this semester.. how cool is that? FOUR okay.. that's like what? full marks. not fair!! and she doesn't have exams. at all. only projects and presentations. i'm so jealous. haha.. anyways, u deserve it la. all the all-through-niters... and shouldn't you give me a treat?? haha.. oh wells.. i guess i should coz i was working after all. oh yah.. and mom too..

i just realised that vivian will only be with us till next week.. 28th =( then she won't be back in singapore anymore.. =/ but that's alright.. coz today's my last day.. *grins*

anyways.. lunched at the village which is almost like marche.. with vivan and tee hiang.. price-wise wasn't too far off from marche but variety wise i think marche has more.. had me and vivian had rostis.. tee hiang got himself some steak.. i had wild mushroom soup and i think i scalded my tongue a lil.. feeling abit raw -.- shared a slice of choc and rum n raisins cake amongst the three of us coz we were too full... chatted quite a bit..

vivan treated us =D when asked why, she replied that she wanted to thank tee hiang for all his help and that she was very impressed with my work/attitude.. *blushes* lol.. heard from tee hiang that they had a temp previously which quit after one day -.- apparently she couldn't take it or smth.. oh wells..

did loads of shredding.. and transferring of files and stationary etc.. forgot to take my hp when i left the office.. so had to walk back to get it.. bought 2 belts at raffles exchange.. and they had the one i was eyeing at fep.. but it was down to the last piece and they didn't have it in brown of white =/

forgot that charmed was on yesterday.. but luckily managed to catch it as i was just sitting in front of the tv channel surfing... caught the amazing race too.. hadn't watched it for quite some time.. reminds me of the days alicia coming over to southaven after school to watched them =D

was decidedly too tired to pull myself outta bed but managed to texted tee hiang to ask him if i could come in 2 hrs later.. =D so i continued sleeping till it was 9 before getting up.. hah.. rushed about and forgot to put blusher which i only realised when i was down at the busstop >.< ..

more shredding and disposing of paper.. but all was completed by lunch time.. =D free time for me now..

had tee hiang get me lunch.. asked for any savoury pastry and he got me meat pie from coffee club.. on him!! haha.. so nice =)

let's see.. nothing much to blog about.. had some inventory and moving of files and documents coz julie will be going to another department and so is my boss.. but i'll be staying in gws which means i'll probably be under lena.. not bad at all.. and the md of dept will be a caucassian.. that's like much better than having a female >.< alright.. i'm super biased against julie and wadnot.. but to me, it's justified.. bitch personified.. 'nuff said.. not going into details.. i wonder why is tee hiang following her to the next department.. *sighs* remind me not to work under julie again.. even though tee hiang says to let them know when i'm have term breaks again.. -.-

was running late for work coz i wasn't into simple makeup todae =D so texted tee hiang and told him i'll be late.. responsible aye? *nods* and i only realised that my aldo heels' soles had worn out.. must be too much pivoting on the heels.. yikes.. gotta get to a cobbler =/ and i wanna get another pair of court shoes.. greedy me.. oh wells =D aniwaes, reached office 9 minutes late, tee hiang saw me walk in then he was like "like that also late???" .. well yea.. 9mins late.. late's late right?? haha.. oh wells.. juliette bought some really nice cheesecake... tastes like the ones mom makes but my mom's are just plain while the one juliette got looked like something for v'dae =D
absolutely scrumptious ain't it.. but my hp's cam dusen really do it justice.. no wonder i'll put on weight working at gws.. the last time round, juliette bought some walnut cake which was quite good too (even tho' i don't usually take nuts) that shows how good it was.. oh wells.. =)

met up with yangying for lunch at international plaza coz we needed to submit our timesheets.. liyan and eliza joined us soon after.. and liyan got herself coloured contacts.. which looked totally off.. poor gurl.. now i'll have to rethink about getting coloured contacts.. and liyan.. i know what u remind me of.. vampire!! haha.. cool..

been catching up on the korean vcds liyan lent me =D damn nice.. for most of it aniwaes.. and as lena says.. there are always korean hearthrobs to eye at.. =D lol.. she's married already can.. -.- oh.. i wanna go learn korean la..!! =D

10.45 mass again todae =D but we didn't see benjamin -again- saw his parents only.. and my cousin erin scared me todae when she stuck out her hand in front of my face when we walked past her at church.. *glares* but it was nice seeing you at church todae =) but don't see janice going anymore.. tskk.. saw auntie cecilia too.. and i still cannot believe the little chat she had with me quite a long time ago, during mass!!.. can't remember the exact conversation but she was like saying that i should get a boyfriend before going to university or something.. can't really remember already.. but i thought that it was quite stupid la.. and during homily sumore.. so much listening during mass.. -.-

went to class very early todae.. so mdm merle got me a room to sit down and do theory or practice while waiting.. did some theory then went to practice.. coz i hadn't been practicing the whole week.. was quite happy with myself coz it still sounded ok.. then during lessons, mdm merle played the cd recorded version of the piece.. felt so dejected can.. have to play at a much faster tempo, lighter etc etc.. sian.. gotta pratice more more more.. >.<

wanted to go jogging after lessons today.. but it was freakin' raining.. sighs..

slept so late on saturday night that i thought i probably wouldn't wake up in time for 10.45 mass the next day.. little did i expect to wake up with enough time not to really rush for church at 10.45.. *grins* ... but we didn't see him... fiona.. so your theory is wrong =P in attempt to cover it, fiona came up with another theory that benjamin probably comes one week and goes mia the next or a couple of weeks.. *raises eyebrow* oh well..

went to westmall to hook up fiona's line billing to mom's.. did some stuff.. and silly sarah forgot to bring her hp out.. and even sillier for forgetting that, wanting to shop at tom and steph while the rest went to m1, library and wadnot.. so i had to call them on the public phone after i was done browsing through t&s >.<

bought a purple towel from aussino.. love it =D but we didn't get the bed sheets we wanted coz they didn't have the size we wanted.. saw another design which i like but fiona found it too red.. oh well.. and fiona, even my friend says it's nice ok... lousy taste u *wrinkles noes*

was reading and online at the same time at night and totally forgot about a date with the vampire show -.- till gavin reminded me.. 40 odd mins after it started.. haha.. thanks alot aniway =)

work was quite boring todae.. coz i'm not really suppose to have internet connection but tee hiang allows me anyway.. shhhhh.. but not for this week coz the auditors will be in.. nothing much to do but just waiting and waiting.. boring!!.. and as usual, mondays are for me to submit my timesheet so i wouldn't have to rush on tuesdays.. met up with yangying, liyan and eliza for lunch at bk.. but yangying had to get back to work earlier leaving liyan and eliza who accompanied me to kelly then parted.. back at the office, i had to do a internal voicemail greeting for julie who was away at hk for business... sounded totally off.. don't like doing voicemail greetings.. eeeeeww..

initially wanted to go suntec and check out aussino to see if they had the bedsheets i wanted but felt a lil lethargic towards the end of the day so decided against it.. but yangying suddenly called me at around 6.40 (the time which was suppose to be already off work but because tee hiang has last min stuff for me to do, i was still in the office) and asked if i'd like to accompany her to shop for her working pants.. so rushed down to citylink.. and i forgot to bring my vc andrews book back.. was gonna finish with that book already.. -.- and so met her and shopped quite a bit till 8 plus.. didn't get anything tho' .. not even from aussino coz they didn't have it there too.. settled for pizzahut but i only ordered a crisscross fries with some salsa sauce which i found to be quite nice abeilt a little stingy with the sauce.. hmm... service was very slow despite the very few diners.. sheeesh..

by the time i got home was already almost 11.. got nagged by mom coz i wanted to wash my hair and it was already so late.. sheesh.. oh well..

and yet another earthquake at philippines.. why in the world are earthquakes happening everywhere.. *sighs* the lost lives and all..

lets see.. met up with ada, puiyu and chris for lunch on wed.. before leaving the office, julie 'invited' me to join them for their department lunch but i was like.. nah.. i have a lunch appointment already.. didn't really fancy the idea either.. coz *whispers* .. i don't really like her.. but she's still tolerable i guess... oh wells.

reached the arcade quite early and didn't see the trio so went in to walk abit and see what's in there.. got a call frm ada so went out to meet them.. passed the bag of cookies to puiyu then they decided to lunch at maysin.. quite sian coz we've been having food from there each time we lunched in.. and christopher says poly life and life at cap square has been good for me.. for i had grown FATTER.. -.- which is not entirely untrue.. coz even my godma who had dinner over at my house on monday.. not a.anna.. says that i'm growing a lil fatter.. and thanks to kelvin for fixing our connection.. i'm no longer the dc queen.. hah.. =P

back to that, it was partly coz my choice of clothes combination weren't flattering alright christopher.. hummpphh.. i'm just a wee bit fatter.. -glares indignantly- but i shall note my diet now.. and no more unecessary late night suppers.. told mom bout it and that i won't be her supper kaki anymore.. lest i grow any fatter.. been complaining to fiona bout it too.. lol.. so she'll constantly remind me to watch what i eat.. but i got so sian of it that i just said.. heck to it.. at least i'm still slimmer than her.. hah.. i'm so mean.. terribly.. =/

was intending to lunch in on thursday but got a message from liyan coz eliza guy was coming down to lunch with her and liyan didn't want to join them for fear of awkwardness, neither did she find lunching with the other 2 temp guys enticing.. so i agreed to head down to tanjong pagar for lunch.. lunch hours just suck.. ok.. coz it's so hard to finds seats.. walked one round before settling at this eatery.. had mee rubus which was really not bad.. gotta keep that in mind.. and liyan had mee siam. accidentally ordered with chilli for her.. so she ended up with extra hot mee siam.. ooops.. so terribly sorry gurl.. was talking quite a bit about.. stuff.. *nods* and shared with her what alicia saed.. or was it jianhua.. which i found quite true *shrugs*.. but yea.. =/ got ourselves fruits then headed back to work..

been so bored at work that i started to read this gurl's blog right from the beginning.. someone whom i knew.. or sorta coz we had mutual frens..was quite surprised and all.. oh well.

got a call or was it a message from liyan to join angie, yangying and her for dinner after work.. only coz angie specially requested for my presence coz she'd feel leftout if she were to just join yangying and liyan.. and that she wouldn't go if i wasn't going.. hahah.. i'm so honoured.. crap. was feeling quite lousy that day so i agreed.. didn't quite fancy heading home on a friday night..

everyone was suppose to meet at 6.30 but since i ended work at that time, they had to wait a lil while for me.. BUT.. due to a myraid of reasons.. i left work just a lil before 7 and still ended up waiting for all of them at cityhall -.- haha.. oh well.. kinda expected it i guess... and boy, was the whole place crowded..

angie came first followed by yangying.. and she made us close our eyes and stick out our hands coz she had something for us.. so we were looking like greedy little gurls =P and she bought us wooden bead earrings.. so nice of her.. love ya gurl.. got them at 3 for 10 and her choice was good.. coz mine was so me and angies was so her.. lol.. put them on immediately coz it matched my attire anyway.. was wearing black and red spags layered and my that long skirt.. while angie's was a baby blue top which went well with her earrings too.. liyan wore black so it was easy to match..

went to raffles place coz yangying wanted to exchange for some lancome mascara sampler.. then headed to suntec coz she wanted to get some H2O+ product with the cleo $11 card and have us look at the pair of shoes she was eyeing from novo.. but we were like.. no.. No.. NO.. not nice.. and so she didn't get it in the end.. =D felt quite bad coz she really liked it and it's actually quite her.. but it's.. not nice?? and we didn't want her to regret buying it.. and it was almost 50bucks so yea.. on the way there, went into ozoc at citylink.. didn't like the salesgurls there.. coz they were discriminatory in their service.. yangying will understand what i meant..

yangying left soon coz she was late in meeting her guy and so it was left with the three of us.. went in search for dinner.. wasn't hungry at first but after the shopping with them, got a lil bit.. went to kenny rogers supposedly to have their side dishes and corn muffins.. but the queue was so freaking long.. so settle for the foodcourt.. had sliced fish bee hoon.. which was nice but the fish serving was quite pathetic.. oh wells.. saw keagan with his gurlfren when we left the foodcourt.. said hi..=)

liyan had a sudden craving for something nice and cold.. so we headed to olio bites but wasn't satisfied with their samplers.. saw keagan again at deli's, waved hi -again- seems that everyone's been seeing keagan around town or wherever quite recently.. hmm.. then headed to yami yoghurt which was closing already.. so went up to andersons.. which we didn't find it to be any better than olio.. keagan walked past and said "eat ice-cream later fat".... like!!!!!! so i went with arms akimbo.. "wad? oh really? oh really" or something like that -.- no idea why i did that.. quite stupid but yea.. haha.. so dissapointed that the ice cream places weren't nice.. or not up to my standard at least =(

liyan and angie were fascinated by noticing how many and the types of guys who took notice of us while we were walking along suntec and citylink -.- goodness...

so went down to wild hibiscus at my suggestion and settled for that.. hah.. =D after much consideration, i settled for elderflower sorbet and chocolate.. double scoop.. so much for watching my diet.. =( angie and liyan settle for cinnamon and mango.. totally wrong combi man.. but separately, it was quite alright.. =) and we were all quite satisfied with it after our long hunt.. and the serving was quite generous too.. maybe coz it was late already?? coz the last time i had it with fiona, it wasn't so much.. hummpphh.. then headed home got home at 10 plus going to 11.. ooops.. angie took pics of our ice cream and the earrings.. gotta remember to get them from her soon..

read a lil till 1 plus.. then to bed.. woke up around 9 then fell back asleep.. and before i knew it.. it was almost 4pm already.. a whopping 14 odd hours of sleep.. best.. *big grins*.. 1st time i was able to sleep till this late.. ok.. maybe not the 1st time.. i think the last time was after obs or something.. but yea.. how often do i get to do that.. oh such a pig i am.. was intending to go running todae.. and practise my piano.. and my theory.. *sighs*.. gonna do it later.. don't know how will i be able to sleep tonight..

dinner was great.. alright.. so much for watching my diet huh.. getting chubbier arms (as christopher said).. rounder face and all.. *sighs*

mom bought smoked duck coz i mentioned it a couple of days ago.. like whoa.. she remembered!! hahha.. love ya.. =D and boiled potatoes.. supposedly with the brown gravy to go with it but she couldn't find the recipe.. so we settle for something i found online at allrecipes.com.. some herb sauce which tasted great and rosemary lamb sausages.. eggs and tomato.. sounds quite alot huh.. but not really.. and i only helped with the potato peeling.. =/

didn't have anything nice on tv.. so just left the music from my laptop playing.. and talked throughout.. somehow in the conversation, mom was talking about the sausages and all.. then i went like "doesn't matter la.. i like all sausages.." then dad was like "really?!? all sausages.."

like ?!?!!??? dad!!!!!!!! so erhemm... totally -.-||| complained to my mom.. but she didn't entertain us.. oh wells.. i cannot believe my dad sometimes.. then he tried to cover up and diverted to chinese sausages and all.. which i like some only so i told him.. "ok.. specifically all western sausages." when i intended to say.. especially those big and fat ones.. but thought i'd better not.. sounded so... erhemm.. then i looked at fiona and we both burst out laughing.. crazy gurls.. =P

dad said whoever the duck backside was pointing too will have to finish it.. it was initially pointing at benjy then it turned 180degrees to me.. -.- someone must have done something..!! but i didn't have it in the end.. i refused to.. dad had it in the end.. hahah.. pics will be up soon..

(but it was mainly coz vicky was like so enthusiastic about ending the game coz she wanted to bake and asked me to accuse so i did it without checking properly -.-)

baked cookies after that with help from vicky and kelvin. tried orange chewy cookies with cranberries.. delicious.. and godma even suggested for me to let my colleagues sample them.. which of coz i objected vehemently.. haha.. didn't want them to ask me to bake so many types of cookies for them -.-

arranged to meet them for lunch today and ada messaged me yesterday night asking if i'd baked cookies.. coz if i did, they'd come down and meet me.. if not, i'd have to go down to meet them.. *sighs*.. the kind of colleagues i have.. *shakes head*

went to wm for lunch at sakae then to je central for library and dad went to get a new pair of spectacles.. then off for theory and piano..

hmm.. went back to school on sat to return my library books and wanted to borrow more but it was already closed >.< meal ="D">.<

was supposed to have lunch with chai.. indian food.. late lunch after her training but we postponed it coz audrey wasn't able to make it.. oh.. and guess how i woke up?.. alicia ringed me on my mobile and asked if i was going to sentosa today.. like o.O coz she saw audrey there.. haha.. told that silly gurl audrey's working there =P..

saturday was spent finishing up john grisham's the testament.. watching tv.. crapping with fiona.. coz it's her hols now and so she doesn't really need to rush for projects.. and we were darn bored at home ended up laming around and talking crap.. watching silly video clips and just doing stupid stuff =P

as it was children's day, benjy kept coming into my room and asking what was his children's day present.. like -.- -.- -.- then told him that there wouldn't be any present for him.. so shoo.. i'm know i'm like damn mean but children's day never meant anything to me.. save for wad.. school celebrations??? -.- oh wells..

was suppose to go have sushi for dinner but fiona was going over to cheryl's place at our old place so pushed it back to tomorrow's lunch... so mom suggest to go to west coast for dinner.. which i promptly told her i wasn't interested... how bout she buy back for me =P coz i don't like having food at hawker centres not that the food isn't nice and all.. but.. *shrugs* but my mom didn't want to pack food back for me and tempted me with satay.. ended up going anyway.. food was not too bad.. was damn full after that.. mom suggested odering beer o.0 .. so ended up we all got a bottle to share.. but i guess it was more for reducing the heat from all the heaty food.. =)

oh yah.. guess who i saw on thurs on the way to lunch.. james lye.. in the lift somemore.. lol.. didn't register into my brain instantly but yea.. and the first thing i thought was audrey.. coz she's mistaken my words and thought he was my boss.. lol.. was chatting with puiyu on the phone on friday.. then she asked.. he's not very tall right? .. lol.. she sometimes laments that guys are not tall enough.. lol.. oh well..
