hah.. guess what the surprise was?

a slightly more decorated bedroom. =D forgot to take some pictures.. now i get to wake up to a beach scenery.. got a rug and a floor lamp -smiles-

was supposed to go for french lect from 6-7 but chai didn't wanna go.. so decided to go for thursday's instead. but went over to godma's place still.

got up super late today. got woken up by godma who asked me what time was my lesson. anyways, i got a ride to school again =D =D

went over to it canteen coz chai had yet to visit it. had prawn mee (hokkien mee) which was quite alright albeit a little too little. =P saw this table of 3 korean-ish looking guys. liyan spotted them. couldn't really confirm tho' but so cool la..

1 hour of travel agency observation on friday passed rather quickly. and we were still thinking, begrudgingly, on having to rot for an hour. did on five stars at golden mile. didn't really have much to do.

sam got bored and started sketching some stuff. angie was so tired that she nodded off. startled her by calling her name. offered her my shoulder but she was still nodding her head off even when she was sleeping my shoulder. wonder how she does that.. hmm

on and off jokes by samuel and with liyan as usual entertaining us with her antics. and chai was counting down for us.

chai was just great todae.

a guy walked past eating this bun. a rather big bun. and chai caught sight of him first and started saying, "that pao looks damn big. it must be a DA PAO"

got me laughing uncontrallaby for quite a bit. coz of the way she said it and she doesn't usually pass such comments u see.

saw this transvestite looking lady. with fierce features; deepset eyes (not in a nice way) with a high and prominant foreheard and a weirdly drawn eyebrows. o.O

just before we left, grassland coach tours made an announcement for its passengers to board the coach in a rythmic rappish manner. in mandarin. my goodness.

went over to some golden mile tower for this supposedly famous steamboat place. recommended by samuel. gotta tell dad about this. so he'll have some place else to bring his friends when they come to singapore.

not too bad and was quite cheap too. and their lime juice or something was good too. loadsa funny jokes and incidents. great time spent there. -smiles-

walked all the way back to parco. left liyan and eliza who decided to walked around abit while the rest of us mrt-ed home.

met steph to pass her vcds. and i'm not chaotar looking la.

gonna have some tangyuan now then to bed. (growing fat la.. how?) gonna try and get up earlier tomorrow to complete whatever homework.

and i think i've gotta make lunch for benjy tomorrow i think. hmmm..

silly people like drey, silin and terence went to sentosa to play vball and sleep under the hut coz there was not sun.. lol.. and i heard that they buried curry puff/s too.. o.O

CYA on monday was fun fun as usual. albeit very tiring. our cso was by the name of sarah too. -smiles- and she speaks tagalog and espanol.. =D

met loadsa interesting pax and all. puiyu caught sight of me and i only realised it after i was done attending to a pax.. how nice =) saw rachel too.. i think she just came back from a trip with her chinese orchestra mates.

tuesday was freezingly cold. forgot to get a jacket from godma when i left the house. -.-

fiona says that godma says that she has a surprise for me if i should be going over to her place on wednesday.. lol.. how odd. even fiona's intrigued.

sentosa-ing again today.

and yet another bet with terence that i'd reach before 10. hah.. and indeed i was. but i forgot to bring my mp3 player out. =/ anywaes, he was even earlier but still had to treat all of us.

was rather worried that there'd be no sun but drey assured us that there'll be much later on. and she was working at the beach shop near to trapizza.

sun was surprisingly good today. wasn't expecting so, so i became complacent and didn't apply sunblock on my face. bad decision. oh wells.

felt so hot that we decided to go for an ice cream break. had gelare's lemon sorbet, mango sorbet and rum n' raisins. may i add that gelare's rum and raisins are great. don't attempt to try venezia's. i regretted it. anyhows, treated the gurls but terence didn't want ice cream. oh wells.

lunched at 2 plus at trapizza coz drey could only get off around that time. and terence couldn't remember which 2 pizzas he ordered. -.- and 3 cokes for the underaged people and a jug of beer for those who were legally of age. =P pizzas were good =) liyan quickly finished her coke and got a juice. food wasn't enough so we got another pizza. salmon this time round. damn nice =D and fries and wings.

oh.. i added 2 drops of tobasco to his pizza coz he didn't believe that i'd do it. humph. and my.. it was but 2 drops ok.. lousy.

and lousy terence felt woozy again after the beer. so lousy can. we drank the same amount but he felt the effects way earlier than me. and he never learns. not to drink before filling the stomach with some food. -.- i only felt light-headed when i got up to ask for the bill. -.-

didn't go back to tanning after that. showered then headed to habourfront centre for some shopping. scoured the place just shopping. got myself a clutch/pouch =D didn't see walking culture tho' ... nadiah.. where's it??

drey suggested sentosa-ing again on monday coz we commskills was pushed to wed for that week. so our lessons only started at 2. but i think not going ahead with it coz sentosa-ing one too many times will lose it's novelty =P

Went to look for Ms Tan during one of our breaks together with chai and drey. decided to help her out for eguides instead of the iguides for open house. got from her that the change in our econs was last min =/ not that i don't like the current new teacher.. (not that i like her very much too) but i just prefer ms tan la. oh wells.. she says that we could still consult her for macroecons. =D so good right. where are we gonna find another teacher like her. -sighs-

Bizstats tutorial on thursday before heading to the sports complex for badminton/jogging/gyming. didn't play badminton but jogged eight rounds round the track. jogged an outer lane each round slowly so that took about 40 mins? then to the gym for thigh and calves weights. can't remember what muscles they are called already. so much for all the pe lessons in ny and pj =P

was supposed to head back to godma's place to shower but was too lazy. so just washed up. to mensa for lunch. and stupid terence was complaining that he was hungry while we were at the gym so decided to cut short gyming and wash up right. but at mensa, he only had a bowl of desserts and an omelette. while i had a bowl of desserts and chicken chop. made me feel like such a pig. humph. psychology tutorial was up. had group discussion and presentation on teen suicide. reminded me to 2 people. hmm. headed back to godma's place for the night. dinner, some tv, bizstats then to sleep. wasn't much nice on tv. dang.

Harry Potter's set on the 29th of november. at first fiona said that kelvin was alright with it. but when i asked him again, he says that he couldn't confirm as he might be meeting his gf that day. *frowns* godma was considering inviting her along.. we'll see.

Got a lift to school again today. and my muscles were aching like anything. must be the no-exercise for such a long long period. after stopping dragonboat. climbing up and down the stairs. getting up from the chair after sitting too long. -sighs- but i still wan't another session next thursday aight pple ?? =D

Friday, TTO lect was up and it was Ms Zhang again. I swear she talks funnily but then again it wasn't that undecipherable. Finally, we got our bizstats tutorial. and may I add that i totally dislike this subject. mainly coz it's almost the same as a level's statistics in Maths. yucks. can never get them right -.-

anyways our tutor, Mr Lum was kinda funny and lame, which is absolutely good else i'd be hating it even more. and he couldn't pronounce 'public' properly which got me bursting out in contained laughter/giggles. lol.. not good of me.

lunch break afterwards was spent at design canteen where i finally got to eat the malay food which drey and nad says is super nice. i usually had a long long queue. did some bizstats tutorial after that with chai. initially, huiting had wanted to drag me along to the library with the rest and she thought that by taking my bag along with her i'd relent -.- oh wells.. i bet my bag wasn't really light. having to carry it to the library then to class. lol.

tto tutorial was rather alright. ms zhang was replacing our tutor who was on mc. no idea who's he but what i heard from ms zhang's mouth was a mr bra/s o.O lol.. and i wasn't the only one who heard that. got so so so bored while she was rattling on and on. caught shawn dozing off or rather sleeping already across the classroom. and i was scribbling on a post-it in black marker "Boring". angie saw it and burst out in laughter.

i swear that our group sometimes can go way off track. then i'd have go like 'this is not the main point here....' or 'so what do we have to do....' or 'what were we talking about again....' or something to that effect to bring the discussion back which i actually have no intentions of doing coz it can get really irritating at times. and i'm not even the group leader. chai would know what i mean.

yangying and cassandra brought up the idea of changing to groups of 5/6 instead of the inital 6/7 . why? loadsa reasons. but don't know which is it as i haven't spoken to them about it. perhaps a change of groups? caused quite some commotion but no one really voiced out but heard from here and there that some people weren't really happy about it. so not a great start for a new semester.

loads to say but all too sensitive. some people not wanting to work with some people. being leftout deliberately. people not happy with the apparent "strengths" in my group -a guess initially but kinda confirmed now-. and that if my group splits up, we probably wouldn't have this problem? we'd then be able to re-distribute the strengths??? and not form a monopoly?? =P discrimination in short. maybe. in various ways.

didn't really feel that our group had a vantage. coz whenever there's 3 leaders in a group, there's bound to be conflict of interests. angie, shawn and me were previously group leaders in sem1 projects. -and i can savely say that we're not very nice people coz there are obviously complaints from our own group members against us. some we do know of, some not that obvious but we do know- and that -there are surely some previous group members who wouldn't wanna work with their previous groupmates and/or group leader.

but luckily angie and shawn's so far been accommodating and i'm just taking a back seat and happily being a secretary. but occasionally vexed at the progress. not in terms of speed tho'. but i kinda feel that within the group everyone's very careful not to step on each other's toes for fear of offending?? *shrugs* too accommodating? all suppressed.

but hey, i'm not complaining here. coz i still do like the choice of my group. and my group mates alot. =)

but anyways, i thought that it'd be good to stick to larger groups of 6/7 for POM coz i percieved it to be a heavier project. but it seems that some people just can't try to put aside their differences and work together can they? nor did they consider this point perhaps? hmm...

anyhows, groupings for all my project groups weren't drastically changed. after the slight change in members per group, my commskills and tto group were the same and pom was just excluding the guys. some people got what they wanted. some didn't. we just can't please everyone can we?

stayed back for tto meeting after tutorial. proceeded to the in-house tour corner (can't remember what's it called already. liyan?) to continue our meeting. then to the benches outside the lecture halls to complete my bizstats as i was too lazy to bring the texts home. ended up, liyan, shawn and angie were doing it too. oh yea.. saw michelle. or rather she saw me. apparently, she was attracted to my shiny peach flats and was quite surprised to see me. so was i =)

train ride home felt so short. and the train was hardly filled. nice =)

sentosa-ing again on saturday. so far silin and terence has confirmed. =)

went for benjy's 1st holy communion on saturday. mom said that we all had to go. so fiona had to cancel her plan and ended up the church was so packed, we didn't sit. so yea whatever.

dad usually doesn't attend mass with us coz he's a freethinker but mom said everyone.. so he came la. but within like 15mins, he wanted to get back to the car already. partly was coz it was so stuffy due to the crowd. but what was atrocious was that he said god told him he could leave the church. *glares* i hate it when dad does that. irritating.

oh yea.. saw terence from cat class there. smiled to say hi. didn't ask him about cat classes coz i figured i probably won't have time to commit? -shrugs- saw darren sitting by himself when most of the congregation had cleared save for parents and family of the 1st holy communion-ers and teachers. if i remember rightly, he has a p3 brother too. and his parent probably went to pick him up while darren sat and waited.. took some shots with ben in his all white clothes.

headed off to westmall's swensen coz benjy wanted that.. had to wait quite a while coz we didn't make reservations. and to save steph from agony, i shan't post the food pics up here.. lol.. i'll do that in sinful escapades (which is long overdue) when i have the time.

shopped abit but didn't really get anything then headed home.

xmas is coming early this year, i feel. much earlier than expected. =/

needn't rush on sunday =) packed quite a bit of clothes and all my school stuff to bring over to godma's house as we'd be having a family dinner there. so decided to stay for the night. loadsa yummy food again. kids down in the den. adults in the living room. and poor rockie was tied to the railings. but he was a very very good boy that day. that i must agree.

was rather early for 1st lesson on monday. hmm.. found that the facilitating sessions with mr chris was quite redundant? oh wells.. group work.

did bizstats tutorial during the break with chai in the library =)

went back to godma's house to get changed before heading to changi. and little vicky must have been bored for she pestered to teach me how to fold paper cranes. i've never really remembered how to fold them coz i don't usually fold them? anyhows, mine ended up looking a whole lot nicer than hers =P coz i folded neatly la. but she was quite envious i suppose. so i told her to practise real slowly. lol.

was a lil late but wasn't the latest. anni and her frens were. goodness. got stationed at T1 which was supposed to be like kinda.. not so new? but it was alright =) smartass me wore boots instead of court shoes. HAH. and the poor people who wore court shoes suffered blisters. ouch.

godma picked me up after that =D wasn't much on the tube so headed to bed earlier. but since my hair was still wet, had to sleep with my head over the bed. sorta.

got awoken by my hp alarm but figured i still could afford to sleep just a teeny weeny bit more. so gave that a miss. and the next thing i knew, it was 8.25am. had no idea why, i suddenly jerked my arm which resulted in my hp flying to the floor. which got me up instantly and to my horror when i was checking if it was still alright, saw the time and bolted to the toilet to wash up.

was intending to cab down but godma woke up and offered to send me to school.. so nice =D anyhows, wasn't late at all. =)

our tutor for econs wasn't ms tan. =/ me and chai were so so so so disappointed. i'm sure u can tell how disappointed we were from the 4 so-s. but ms clare was.. hmm.. ok la. -sighs-

celebrated cass's birthday todae. 2hrs break todae was spent doing transferring last weeks econs into the booklet and reading up for the lecture todae. and ms audrey and huiting missed econs tutorial in the morning. huiting decided not to come for the rest of the day but i'm glad drey didn't follow suit. drey.. i'll buy chocolate for u soon ok? .. lol =P

commskills was very interesting today. business correspondence. coz samuel as usual was lost in the convo. -sighs-

gave french lect a miss coz noone was going for todaes. decided to go for psychology lect on wed morning and french lect after my french tutorial on wednesdays.

moonpeople on wednesday but silly me left the tics at godma's house. gonna have to go over during break to get them =) and drey tells me to wear my brown casual jacket and super mini denim skirt with the metallic peach flats. aights. then gonna stayover at godma's house again =D

aight... another week long entry here.. hopefully i can finish it before i leave home for benjy's first communion.

first day of school was quite alright, met chai to take the shuttle. met ms tan or rather better known to our class as tanel. which was quite disrespectful. *shakes head* and she asked if we'd like to help her out for open house.

chai/me: mm.. anything. you can ask the class too -smiles in an obliging way- (coz me and chai quite liked her la u see.. i believe she's partly the reason chai scored quite well for econs and yours truly a distinction =D )
ms tan: yea.. who's your tutor?
me/chai: you!?
ms tan: ME?? -with a shock and taken aback expression which me and chai didn't know how to interpret. is that good or not???- okok.. i'l ask during tutorial =)

lol.. me and chai were laughing all the way and repeating the scene to anyone who cared to listen. -laughs-

and since we were sticking as a class, there wasn't the usual jittery apprehension associated with a new class and new faces. didn't know who to expect for commskills as there wasn't a name placed in the timetable. met huiting at the lift and went hunting and chai for our classroom. surprisingly, we were the first few. classroom was small and stuff but luckily for the rest of the sem, we'd mostly be meeting mr chris at staggard times as a group. teacher from the british council on adjunct at tp. with a mostly undecipherable british accent. and people like cass were complaining that they could only understand 1/2 sentences out of the 10 o.O haha.. oh wells. grouped with sam, shawn, angie, pang, liza and chai =) lots more bout our group project but won't be includung them here..

2hrs later was pom lecture. my first impression of the lecturer wasn't exactly good but it changed after the break. coz during break she came over to me and nad to check if we were the class she was taking and she seemed quite friendly. but sadly not. and h03 was as usual taking up the front 3/4 rows in the center of the lecture hall =D anihows, me and nad were like halfway dozing off already =X

followed up a cs meeting for a shortwhile then me and drey headed to fep to get our shoes changed due to slight defects. shopped abit but i didn't get anything. drey got herself a top. and she got disuaded by me in getting those bag/s that she was eyeing. apparently, it seems i'm the only one who has managed to dissuade her from spending $$ so far. drey was craving for some small bites so we went to try the fried mars bar. decadent indulgence i must say.

for the sweet tooth in us

crashed tto lect on tues so that i needn't need to go back to school on friday for only an hours lecture. a china/taiwanese lecturer i suppose from her name and accent. was late but drey, huiting and silin waited for me =) and the irritating guys behind us were passing very mean remarks on the lecturer.. got us all so irritated. i shall turn back and stare the next time round. humph.

was up till 3 plus almost 4 watching spiderman which fiona rented for her film appreciation thingy.

psychology lect early on a wednesday morning. with mr jeff as the lecturer. and poor nad who was sitting beside me got a shock when she was suddenly asked a question. anihows, not a bad way to wake up =D 6hrs break in between till french tutorial. nad wanted to go back home for a nap and the rest to somewhere else. so i gave godma a call to see if she'll be home and with intentions to go over to her place to catch some sleep. but she was on her way out to town so she came over and picked me up. =) ran some errands in town and browsing thru at tangs. headed to little india to have yummy indian food.


poor her. vicky is a terrible racist. against indians as far as i know. so she refuses to eat indian food. except prata. anihows had a great great lunch at anjappar, authentic chettinaad restaurant. had naan instead of rice. ate my lunch with my hands but godma used fork and spoon. indian food must be eaten with hands mah. =P ordered a teh terik after that but the waiter was rather surprised at the order? 0.O oh wells. headed to parkway parade to get some groceries then went back to tp.

was very very early for french tut. and at engine school sumore. -.- french wasn't too bad. had a french teacher but she dusen really teach us to pronounce properly. mrs bich phan. didn't know anyone there but made some fast friends. but i forgot their names as fast as i made them la. went to french lecture after that with one of the girls. drey and huiting were late and since the lecture hall was packed, they skipped it.

went for the later bizstats lecture instead of the one at 9am. got terence's msg that attendence was taken tho. but anyways, since it was the 1st week, i guess they were more lenient coz during the 12pm lecture, the lecturer told us to just include our names in the list for this week. a maths subject. my goodness. i'm terrible at maths ok. hopefully it's ok. gotta be more hardworking then.

which reminds me, i've gotta purchase the text soon. and i hate texts.. coz it's always so thick and after that sem, i won't know what to do with it. coz there's absolutely no space in my room. luckily got the psychology text from gavin which means i don't have to keep it after this sem =D

psychology tutorial was ok. didn't know anyone there again. and class was conducted by a mr brian who also teaches at sp and another poly. rather quiet prolly coz it was the 1st lesson. hopefully it'll get better aye.

went for french tutorial again to pei siejen and chai. coz i had promised siejen that i'd company her for thur's lect but had attended wed's lect instead with another tutorial mate.

sentosa-ing on friday with drey, pang, silin and terence. had a rule about the late comer treating. but terence underestimated me and said that if i was early, he'd treat. anihows i was early but we arrived on the same train so he managed to weasel outta it. anyhows i think he's was short on cash. pang was the latest but luckily she didn't have to treat.

basically was just tanning all the way. while they tanned/volleyball-ed. met gavin for a teeny while to get psycholgy text before he went for his next lesson. oh.. and drey said that gavin looks korean-ish. hah =)

sakae for lunch and i forgot to bring my debit mini.. -.- don't like paying by cash.. sighs. tanning sumore after that. wasn't that sunny anymore but rather breezy. me, pang and silin fell asleep after that. was late in leaving the island so me and pang didn't go for the cya briefing. didn't go ps after that too tho' i was intending to.

not much to cover today.

first up was the timetable for the new semester. so much for looking forward to it, i was sorely disappointed. so much for changing of classes. as much as i dreaded having a new class, i was kinda looking forward to it? not that i don't like onehedgeoutree, which is totally great by the way, don't get me wrong. but i was kinda looking forward to new circle of friends, tho' maybe not as close? and also the thrill of meeting my onehedgeoutrees dearies like drey, nad, chai, pang, angie etcetc during similar lectures, cds or breaks? or when drey or chai goes to the locker. sighs. so not fun already. hummpphh.

and the timetable is kinda stupid also can?


my lessons on monday ends at friggin 7pm, i've only to be in school for 2hrs on wed and what's the 5hour break on thurs for? sighs. i'll just have to make the best outta it. and i've gotta choose which day for my cya. hmm...

on a more positive note, at least i've got my classmates for another semester and i got my psychology, so did nad. i think shawn and sam got theirs too. can't remember of they chose that. and drey got her french too.. =D but chai didn't get her first choice. currently considering taking another cds. was thinking of french like drey. but it's a hot sub so.... and having experienced projects in sem1 is not something to laugh at ok? with cya and all.. so maybe not la huh?

was supposed to meet terence at 11.15 at somerset. BUT sarah only got up at 10.58? or rather jumped outta bed when i recieved drey's message. oh wells. texted terence that i'll be super late then went to wash up and all.

ended up i had to wait for him afterall coz he went to funan while waiting for me to get to town. drey didn't join us coz she was kinda sick of marche having dined there like once or twice in the last week. terence had a pizza, black pepper prawns (i think he really likes prawns without even knowing it =P he ordered prawns too the last time we went to celebrate yangying's bdae at fish and co) and erdinger beer. draught.

and it was not joke ok. that was the size of a regular tobasco. not the slightly smaller ones. this is the size 3 tobasco i think.

and silly him felt abit seh after that. lol. damn funny. luckily i didn't drink. =P and he couldn't for the sake of him pronounce erdinger properly la. no matter how many times i corrected him. must be the alcohol.

the prawns were nice. but i didn't have them. =D

i only had soup. and lucky me, all the choice of soup today were non-meat. so i had 3 to choose from. the usual cream of mushroom, cream of asparagus and the fish and crab soup. chose the latter although i was tempted to try the cream of asparagus. and soup was good by the way although it looked plain. and it had fillets of fish in them. scrummy =) and i love their baked bread cubes. i'm sure there's another way of calling it. can't remember *shrugs*

headed up to annex to walk about while waiting for drey to arrive. walked about a lil more then headed to taka for venezia ice cream =D there were having a small jap food fair at the basement and drey treated me to potatoe croquettes. we both had potato cheese =D but i forgot to get them to heat it up. =/ but it was very crispy tho'

venezia was having some promo. double scoop at 3 instead of 3.90. must tell fiona this. had a double scoop lemon. and a rum n raisin and mango. lemon as usual was great. but drey and terence found them too sour. but that's the way i like them. =P rum n raisins were kinda wierd? didn't find them as good as what fiona claims. i guess the one at gelare's nicer. and mango was good too.

headed over to orchard hotel to meet up with wesley. he says that he passed us in a cab and was waving to us but we didn't see him -.- didn't call shawn down coz i was too lazy to contact him. =X but shawn, since we'll be in the same class, we'll have the chance to go max brenner with drey la hor. the ASS again. =)


the hi-tea cum choco buffet was alright. wasn't exactly fabulous. should have gone to max brenner. but the company was great. oh. the calamari was great. rojak was a-ok but it satisfied my cravings for rojak from the night before so yea. the choco fondue was really not too bad. but i only had a couple of them.

went down to fep after that. went to get court shoes from anna nucci with drey coz she has yet to get them. i got myself another black one too. was also considering the white one and tailon says i'd might as well get both. one white and one black. i have money no where to spend meh huh. =P but really, i felt like that after i bought the black one la. after all i've already got my aldo one. was actually considering the white one but found the cutting to be different from the black one. was also considering between two different cuttings for the white one initially. one had a nicer cut but wasn't as white and the other vice versa. and i guess i'd hardly have a chance to wear it out. at least i can wear the black one for sch presentations and cya.

shopped around for denim skirt next. went to collage and got skirts. different ones. so we could swop next time. and we wear the same size. yayness. =D it wasn't really a white washed frayed denim but it'll do. for now. =D i'm eyeing an ambercrombie and fitch one la. but they don't have it in singapore. dang.

and we realised that we both bought our stuff together. the croquettes. ice cream. shoes. skirt. hah..

walked around abit more then met up with isaac. drey and isaac left soon after to catch a movie. then we all headed off.

still feeling guilty for buying the shoes. but i like i like i like. =D

halloweens was over in a flash.. didn't celebrate it at all.. dang.

deepavali public holiday on tuesday. dad and benjy went out for mac breakfast and both me and fiok were still halfway in bed. before they left, dad came in to ask if we wanted mac breakfast but i opted for bk breakfast instead. so in my half asleep state, went to dig out the bk coupons.

all saint's day on tuesday too. went for mass as it was a day of obligation. was almost late.. or were we late?? can't remember but we didn't get proper seats though.. ended up sitting opposite ryan, his cute little brother and his mom. back then during my attachment to the st francis kids club, ryan's mom was one of the parents involved and his little brother was helping around too. OH.. and may i add.. ryan is cute la.. oh well.. -grins-

ok.. jokes aside, ryan's still cute anyway and the sunday when i went to mass with lora, lora guessed his age to be 21? my goodness.. but he does look that la. ok, enough about ryan.

saw some peeps -ex-catechism mates, ex-primary school mates, or just some familiar youth faces- nicholas kwek, his younger brother stephan? stephen? steven? with his gf, louis, terence... but we didn't say hi or what coz we all were never close.. quite sad actually but *shrugs*

went to ikea after that parked at anchorpoint. the parking queue at ikea was just crazy. stopped at oscar's coz mom wanted to lunch there.. but me and fiok were still full from the breakfast so we ended up shopping. at bloomington's where she got this really sweet and thoughtful gift for mr khoo with my money no less cause she didn't bring her wallet out. then to this quaint retail shop then to cold storage for a drink. watsons for some facial products. headed to swensens to take a look at their new flavour but we didn't get any coz we still had a tub of haagen-daaz coffee in our freezer.

headed to ikea next coz mom wanted to check out a particular toilet cabinet. and i wanted to get containers to put all the bags of stuff at the foot of my bed currently -note: currently, coz we didn't get them in the end.- and new plain dishes. the ones at home are just not nice la. but ended up, we didn't get them.. quite pissed after that. too lazy to elaborate too. the queue at the ikea restaurant was horrifyingly long too.

left halfway to the ikea bistro and shared between the both of us their cheap and good hotdog, ribena (the bottled ones.. not the soft aluminium packed ones. love the former =) why don't they sell them anymore??? -.-) and the soft icecream. and do u know, their slightly toasted bun swiped against the ice cream is delicious. =D the wierd things i eat my food with. oh wells. and their ice cream's really good. much better than the ones at mac. but it's double the price yea. and i so miss the honeyed mustard from korea =/

waited really really long for them all to get out of ikea. when they finally did, no idea what they bought in the end though, got benjy to get us another ice cream while he was queuing for a hotdog =D not that i was hungry but was just greedy for another ice cream u see. =D

mom wanted to have dessert so dad drove to someplace near west coast i think.. but the three of us were too lazy to get out in the blazing sun so ended up sleeping away in the car while mom and dad went for their desserts.

thursday was actually supposed to be for shopping in town with audrey and terence.. and pizza and chocolate. BUT at around 12 plus in the morning then did liyan ask me to go to angie's church to help out for the mass of the annointing of the sick. never had much tolerance for the elderly due to my biasness against my grandmother.. ok don't get me started on that.. although i've had some nice and pleasant experiences with OTHER ELDERLIES. but decided to go for that anyway and postpone the shopping to friday.

ok.. back to the mass. went to the church of the risen christ. couldn't confirm if i've been there before till i went up to the church. turns out that i'd been there before.. once upon a time. -.- coz i can't remember when already. on a good friday i think.

anyways.. it was rather nice helping out there.. didn't regret opting to help out instead of shopping =) and angie seriously has friends with very odd names. gilbert. ethelbert. like ?? o.O why can't people have simple names like sarah and angeline =P i should have been called lael for the day too la.

sat in and attended the mass too. and boy, was it so old school. the hymns, the kyrie, doxology and i think the our father is also a lil different. so cool. i miss the 'old ways' before father clifford implememented the changing if hymnal books. but i've grown to love the new hymns and all too. -sighs-

this whole thing made me wanna get involved with my church's youth group again. ok wait.. what again? i was never in it. nah.. i was thinking more along the line of catechism classes.. there'll be cute little kids =D or should i do the st francis kids club? but it'll be a weekly commitment. hmm.. i think terence is teaching cat classes.. gotta check with him on that.

walked and shopped around at hdb hub with pang, angie and her godson sebastian.

oh.. digression again. liyan.. u should just call yourself pang. so much easier don't u think? then people won't do like.. li.. li wad? li yuan? sighs.. =P

bought earrings.. yes.. again. saw a couple of nice ones. but wasn't really intending on getting them as u know i already have alot. but angie saw one she loved. and so decided to get one too coz it was more worth it u see.

met up with lora last sunday for mass.. 1045 mass =D but we didn't see benjamin.. however, she glimpsed ben's sis and wanted to go look for her after mass but i guess she left early. went to have lunch at the hawker centre at j.central.. sat there and chatted till it was time for theory lessons.. and lora went off to give tuition..

11 face (powder and liquid foundations, half-used stick, liquid and creme concealors)
3 eyebrow pencils
a couple of makeup brushes
a couple other nicknacks

22pairs of dangly hooked earrings
6pairs of hoops earrings
4pairs of closed earrings
3pairs of larger square studs
1 pair of classy silver earrings fit for prom
a few dozen pairs of small studs
1dozen bangles
1dozen girly bracelets and charm bracelets
1-2dozen necklaces (chunky, chain)

hooked my earrings onto the towel esther gave me back in jc =D

and these are only my regularly functional accessories
my bracelets and bangles aren't even there

coz they were on me.
just the way i like to wear them.

i think i don't need to buy accessories anymore in this life time la. nor makeup. but what do u know, i'm attracted to them like bees to honey =D

went over around evening time to godma's place and she picked me up from the mrt station in her new car.. so nice right? had dinner, watched charmed then went up to the room.. channel surfed sumore and finished up my v.c andrews book..

oh yah.. silly forgetful me forgot to bring my makeup over AGAIN. so i had to soak my contact in disposable plastic cups. which looks totally stupid. and used godma's makeup. thank god she uses bobbi brown concealor too. tho' of a different shade. but beggers can't be choosers.

i let rockie into the room coz he was such a poor thing.. but that silly dog had to lay down right behind the door even when i told him that he shouldn't do that.. sometimes he's very smart but then again.. sometimes not.. sighs. was so exasperated that i made him go out lest his tail or paw gets injured. couldn't get to sleep for a long time.. no idea why tho'

had the skippy peanut butter and chocolate spread on bread for breakfast the next morning.. never much of a peanut butter person but found that i quite liked it, especially when u spread it on thick =D then godma fetched me to T2 for the CYA meetup.. i got the time wrong but wasn't late at all in the end -.-

the cya orientation was usual stuff.. get to know each other.. then down to the main business.. the ins and outs.. dos and don'ts etc etc ..

had the walkabout T2 both in the public area and the transit.. quite a maze to me coz sarah really has no sense of proper direction.. shucks. aniwaes, loadsa shops in there.. i wanna go shopping la.

totally tired out after the 1st day.
i've no idea how chai can stay so chirpy -.- haha..

godma picked me up frm T2, then went home to get changed before heading out for dinner at east coast village or something.. also in celebration of vicky's last day of exams. found it very very familiar but i couldn't confirm if i'd been there before (but after confirming with mom, we did really had dinner/supper there before.. all the way to the east o.O)

ordered drinks.. auntie nora and vicky had fizzy drinks, godma had hundredplus and i had coconut juice =D but the coconut wasn't really nice coz the inner layer was rather thin =/

vicky had pepsi twist and doesn't drink coke.. so i asked her why did she prefer pepsi to coke.. guess what she said?

vicky: coke got acid
sarah: but pepsi is the same as coke. and pepsi twist has added lemon. even more acid leh..
vicky:....

lol.. so funny can.. pepsi doesn't have acid?? oh wells.. there's this new coke lemon thingy.. gotta ask her to try it out =)

and so our dinner consisted of chai tau kway (fried carrot cake-black), lala (some shellfish?-without chilli), chicken wings-barbequed, sambal stingray (super super hot) and satay. the stingray was really really spicy and since vicky and auntie nora cannot eat spicy food, me and godma had to finished them.. -gulps liquid-

had the first four dishes then realised that we didn't order satay.. so went alooking for satay with vicky.. saw 3 stalls side by side selling satay.. it didn't have a queue wadsoever so we didn't know which was better?? so i got vicky to just randomly pick one.. place our order of 8 beef and 8 chicken.. coz that was all we could eat..then the guy asked.. why not make it 10 =P well i could have eaten more but i didn't wanna stuff myself.. luckily, vicky has good taste... coz the satay was quite good.. but i found the chicken to better than the beef.. surprisingly so coz usually the beef tastes better to me.. *mental note: to patronise the middle stall again*

took a little walk then headed back home.. stopped by at the petrol kiosk to top up and godma bought beer. she couldn't drink it during dinner coz she was gonna drive.. so could only drink them at home. after that heaty dinner sumore.

caught the last bit of the prince becomes frog show.. vicky wanted to tune to some scv cartoon show but i got her interested in my show instead.. =P coz i gave her a synopsis of that show.. haha.. was reading through the changi stuff when it started storming then there was a partial blackout.. only the lights were affected.. the aircon was working fine tho' and the fridge wasn't affected too.. so i gave up reading and decided to get some sleep.

let rockie into the room again coz it was all thunder and lightning.. poor dog. but he kept pacing up and down the room and kept knocking until the underside of the bed that i had to let him out of the room again.. sighs..

was running late on the second day of orientation but i wasn't really late in the end again =P boy am i lucky. this time had faq, role play and T1 walkabout.. me and chai didn't really like this sp cya snr.. and so we were like noticing how certain people treated him.. rather discreetly tho' =P chai would know what/who i mean =D

had lunch at cedele's and it being a friday, i chose curried pumpkin soup with free flow of bread, liyan had bluberry crumble and angie had smoked salmon sandwich and carrot cake, compliments of her ex-colleague/boss.. so cool.. and chai wasn't feeling hungry so she just helped herself to the free flow of bread =)

took a train to simei, got myself mango juice then walked back to godma's place. packed up then got a lift to tanah merah coz the sky was threatening to rain.

mom didn't get dinner for me but luckily dad called home and so got him to buy fried carrot cake for me.. heh.. but he had to rush off to work after i collected my dinner from him.. feelin kinda bad coz he had to rush around. =/

didn't attend sunday mass with lora.. went for 1230 mass instead coz we all couldn't make it to 1045. choir conductor was changed =/ hmm.. went to kap mac for lunch then cold storage to do our grocery shopping coz mom wanted to get some stuff from there for dinner.. she was intending to make pasta, potatoes and wadnot..

got asked by jem to join him in town with tailon for shopping. last minute. wasn't too keen at first coz mom was making yummy dinner. and i was having a huge zit -.- horrors of horrors. and i was in the middle of packing my room. AND it's a sunday. town was sure to be crowded. but jeremy said dinner's on him.. in jem's words, hoseh.. =D

was late in meeting them up at fep.. as usual, both of them were guessing what i was dressed in.. well none of them got all right in the end. can't remember who guessed what but i was in orange blouse, denim skirt and my white heels. i think tailon got my skirt right. and jem was able to get me down to town when tailon thought that i wouldn't come down. oh wells, u win some u lose some.

ended up, me and tailon pei-ed jem shopping.. jem got himself a much needed pair of shoes coz he says he was down to one pair.. and both of them got shirts from topman.. dinner was a hassle coz we didn't know what to eat and i wasn't feeling on having chinese.

was feeling like having meat so we went in search of HRC.. which i couldn't really remember where.. coz the time we went was conveniently just opposite the busstop which we got down from. finally remembered that it was behind forum. as it was a sunday night, it was naturally packed. so we had to wait at the bar quite a bit for seats.

was reluctant to order drinks at first coz of the last time i felt alil seh after that bottle of heineken at sentosa and jem was watching the dinner bill (dinner was on him remember? =P) but tailon ordered a jimcola, and me and jem was happily munching away on popcorn and looking through the menu.. then i had to go tell them about the sentosa incident. and so jem got himself an appletini and ordered a heineken for me.. i can't believe i have this kinds of friends can.. oh wells =P

had bruce's famous bbq ribs, honey bourbon hickory smoked pork chop and herb grilled marinated chicken breast.. wasn't too satisfied with the last 2.. and i think the ribs at cafe cartel was nicer.. *shrugs*.. i'll bet tony roma's are better too.. but at twice the price i guess.. which reminds me, i haven't been to tony roma's in a long long time.. and alicia said that their standard isn't that great anymore? =/ i grew up dining at tony roma's once in a while when we were young -.-

actually was abit seh-ish after drinking. before the food came. i guess it was because i drank on an empty stomach. as was that time at sentosa. but the guys didn't know coz i didn't let on. hah. =P

used my uob card so we got a 15percent off.. and i realised that hrc has loadsa joint promos with cards. aniwaes, told mom i'd be home by 9 but dinner ended only around 8.30. walked jem to cine coz he was meeting his friends there then cabbed back to my place with tailon. he stays rather near me =) and taxis are irritating la.. when u don't need one, u see plenty of it. and when u really wanna get a cab, it's so hard to get. almost had to book one.. irritating.

monday was spent packing all my notes.. don't know if i should dump my sem1 notes.. hmm.. and extracted microecons notes frm jc and poly for wenxian.

benjy scored pretty well for his final yr exams.. 96 for science, 100 for maths (at least the effort we spent coaching him the day before, me setting questions, dad marking his paper and fiona tuitioning him before wasn't wasted) and 90 for his chinese. his english results aren't out yet. was quite happy for him but he told me that he was at least aiming for 2 hundreds. but he can't get a 100 for english. aural how to get full marks? he's not suppose to eat chocs but shared my timeout with him anyway.

silly terence lost a bet to me again.. he didn't believe that there existed an electrical froth maker which is seperate from an espresso machine. and so i've another treat.. this time's at Brazillian Churrascana.. =D

decided not to tan on thurs.. with the unpredictable weather recently. and me having an outbreak -.- shopping and makaning instead.. pizzas, venezia and chocs.. with terence and audrey maybe.. -grins-

next sem's timetable isn't even out.. gotta wait till 4th nov can.. what's the school admin doing?? -frowns-
