aights. my almost weekly update.

i miss mdm merle. she's gone to amsterdam to visit her daughter and i'm stuck with a replacement teacher. anyhows, i don't like her at all. i hope i survive the remaining 3 lessons.

and as i was saying, i forgot to make reservations. and since it was a weekend, i thought i'd better play safe. freaked out when noone was picking up so rang wenxian and liquan.

anyhows, settled on lq picking me and ali up then heading to bugis to meet amanda who was mia the whole time and wenxian. finally settled on holland v but not a place in mind yet. it's great to have someone who drives. =D

drove round in circles looking for parking slots till lq and wx were freaking pissed. ended parking here..

hah. dined at fosters in the end. sat at the veranda. rather nice and cosy corner. dimmed lightings and a lone floating candle on our table.

this was how dim it was.

the comp bread and butter was snapped up in seconds coz we were all too hungry from all the driving and waiting. it was already 8 plus by the way. med seafood pasta was by far the tastiest of the 3 dishes we had. but the steak and chicken wasn't too bad either.

the potatoes were great too. ohh.. the calamari. fantastic. i'm gonna have that the next time i'm there. =)

but nothing could beat the company, no? but liquan was more quiet than not.

hung around till the last guest left then did we feel get out of the comfortable spot. waited for a while for wx's mom to fetch her coz lq refused to send her all the way up north. haha.. poor gurl.

up early on monday for service. nothing much to comment. clearing the table and changing of tableclothes. tricky tasks. and the plates are freaking heeeaaavvvvvvvy. =/

met up with drey and went to novena to check out the adidas shop there. sadly disappointing. nothing nice there. but had loads to eat. shared little knick knacks. dumpling. bread. met cher at novena too. more like she gave me a shock. =)

then to queensway we went. went in search for nice adidas and/or puma jackets but couldn't decide on one. and the boys were taking so freaking long to arrive. but couldn't blame them much coz they came down from tp and detoured to town to get chocs for mag. that lucky gurl. meanwhile, we got ourselves belt and accessories for drey.

being me, couldn't remember which shop did we spot the jackets and had to go to almost every shop again on the first floor when we finally met up the the guys. finally settled on the brazillian one after conflicting views from niven and isaac. brazil vs germany. like wadeva -.-

had zhi ca for dinner. and niven and isaac kept laughing at something which me and drey could not figure out. drey suspects that it's her new hairstyle. freaking irritating. them. and i still owe niven dinner money =/

parted ways with drey and isaac. and on the way when niven accompanied me to change busses then did he realise that the chocs for mag were still with isaac. silly guy. that's what happens when u don't carry a bag =P

not much for the rest of the week. just that stayed back till about 6plus almost everyday. i think that'll be my life for the rest of the semester.

bought fiok's second half of a gift at royal selangor's. then headed to town to meet her and her frens up. now i understand why she says shaun is freaking gay. it's not something i can explain but he is just. so. freaking. gay. la. sorry shaun. lol

headed to the esplanade via marina's free shuttle. the whole bus was almost ours. =D sat down and just chit chatted. somehow i felt that they were more childish than my htm mates. even though they were the same age. perhaps it was due to me knowing them since secondary level? and for my classmates, i've seen then at and through projects and all. so all the serious facets i've seen too. anyhows it was nice meeting up with shaun, cheryl and clariss again. and of course peiluan tho i see her more often then the rest. alright. not childish. just not as mature. hehs =P

and fiona dusen like the green and yellow jacket i got her. coz she has a junior whom she dusen relly like and she has that jacket. and not to forget she dusen take much of a liking to green. tho i'd anticipated that.

could've have gone to dxo for the hip hop extravagenza event since fiok and peiluan were already eighteen. BUT that silly gurl hid away my invite. alright. not hid. but rather placed it somewhere outta sight so i din see it till like on saturday morning. stewpeed. too bad for you gurls then =P

and it's not fair. noone picked me up on my birthday. what's more it was later. =( dad came down to pick us up at about 11.30. was too lazy to head home ourselves. =D

aights. friday was queenswaying with fiok to change her jacket. and the guy was freaking nice to allow us to change even though i'd plucked out the pricetag. silly me forgot all about needing to leave the tag on just in case and removed it. shopped for belts and got myself a gold necklace. freaking nice but i have to modify it a lil.

didn't go for felix's burfday celebration coz drey wasn't going and i had project discussion online. ended up all the gurls weren't going save for steph. so they settled for dinner or something. i'm so sorry!!!..

headed to town on saturday to shop for mom's gift before heading to the fullerton hotel for the hotel visit with sjcc.

couldn't find anything at raffles city so headed to citylink. dad sponsored us twoHUNDRED bucks and asked us to make sure the gift is above that amount. and we have to contribute. like one buck also can. hahah.. never have i been unable to decide on a purchase just because it wasn't expensive enough. gosh. saw some rings at the jewellery counter at robinsons. denni. more of costume jewellery i felt. had like twentyPERCENT discount. but fiona went like "not like we need them anyway" hehs. but they had nice nice rings which i wanted to get for myself. pretty pretty. -sheepish grin-

met sakinah with another coursemate there. =) shuttled between the jewellery shops at citylink unable to decide which ring to get. it's not easy shopping for mom coz she has skinnier fingers than me. anyhows settled on one at sookee jewellery. something simple and really small. i just hope mom likes it.

haha.. alright. fiona chose it actually.

met up with the sjcc for a tour of the fullerton hotel. interesting and all =) but i forgot to take peekture with chai. ooops. and the chef who did a demo for us was so nervous that his hands were shaking. hahs. left a lil earlier with chai. prolly get shawn or wes to update me.

just allowed benjy to have share in the prez. he's contributing like 14bucks. so cute la. i hope he dusen spill the secret till it's tomorrow. and his pseudo gift is a movie treat for mom to watch poseidon. i can't believe it. my mom is actually gonna watch a show which i have yet to watch. woe is me. sad is my life.
