slept till two plus today. tho i'd woken up thrice in between, checked on the clock before falling back to sleep. that's what happens when you've no motivation to do anything and thus there's no sense of urgency.

terence came to pick me up at 6 but i wasn't ready yet coz he didn't inform me in advance. ended up making him wait about half an hour for me. plus he lost his way here and there when he went to pick tampines people and on the way to town. but for someone who has only gotten his license for two weeks, i must commend him on his driving.

dined at paulaner's where clariss, michelle and vic happened to be working for the night. dinner reservation at 7.30 but we ended up reaching around 8plus9. tried a variety of dishes. some mixed platter. platter of 6 types of sausages. veal cutlet, lamb shank. pork knuckles. sausages pork knuckles and lamb shank are rather good. had two bottles of german sparkling wine.

headed over to indochine as we wanted some live music. Cats in the Cradle are back. haven't been there in quite a bit since the last time with eliza, liyan, shawn and terence. we can't even remember when that was. heard that the band was mia for a while but im glad they are back. acoustics are as good as before. and boy are we glad that they changed their staff. so so much better.

parted with chai and angie after 12. fiona met us after. got home around 2plus. thanks to birthday boy terence who gave us a lift home.
